Brother Elixir -
Groove based Heavy American Blues influenced garage rock and roar. Take Jon Spencer, Fu Manchu, Muddy Waters, J. Geils and MC5 meld them into one. Lots of rollicking, rocking drum beats, riffy guitars and gritty harmonica. Catchy, driving 2 and 3 minute songs that stick in your head long after they are done. A confluence of two great American forces... rock and roll.
Brother Elixir is drummer and guitarist Alex Jarvis getting the chance to play and sing the songs and style of music he feels inside. Alex has quite a lot to say and "What is What" is a pleasing mix of rock and roll energy and enthusiasm. The songs are all upon the feel of rocking guitars and driving beats. There is melody once and a great while two, but Brother Elixir is music for people who like honest, upbeat rock and roll.

Greg Jarvis Bio:
Aka "Chicago" Greg,
At the age of eight found a harmonica and a six pack of beer behind
the old 10th street laundrymat, has been performing ever since.
On a bus ride back from Chicago, Greg met Chicago's Delmark
(This is Blues Harmonica Vol.2)
recording artist "Shaky" Jake Harris during his teens.
Shaky mentored him on the harp.
Greg has given several lessons to Rip Lee Pryor (son of the ailing
Snooky Pryor) and has also recorded with Stace England who has 2 albums
that are blossoming in Europe. Greg has also recorded with Bob Pina (founding
